Resilience is not a static destination; it is a continuous, flexible, inclusive, and secure process designed to ensure energy systems not only endure, but evolve. Whether addressing immediate market disruptions or planning decades ahead, energy security, economic growth, and system resilience are inseparable. 

Day Two brought an equally engaging debate during the panel session, "Energy Exchange - The End of the Energy Market? Are we in the age of the strategic bloc?" Opening the discussion with a provocative question, SG Osama Mobarez led a truly stimulating dialogue alongside Dr. Carole Nakhle, CEO, Crystol Energy; H.E. Jassim AlShirawi, Secretary General, IEF; Mr. Derek Grossman, Senior Contributor on SE Asia / Professor, Foreign Policy Magazine / University of Southern California; Mr. Shehryar Omar, CEO, Petroleum Institute of Pakistan; and Mr. Nobuo Tanaka, CEO / ED Emeritus, Tanaka Global / IEA. 

Against the backdrop of shifting geopolitical landscapes and emerging strategic blocs, SG Mobarez emphasized the pivotal role the Eastern Mediterranean is playing within the global energy architecture. The East Med is not merely responding to challenges and disruptions; it is actively building a resilient energy system, strengthening regional connectivity, diversifying energy flows, and contributing meaningfully to security of supply for wider global markets. 

A resilient energy future cannot be built in isolation. The conversations in Bangkok served as a powerful reminder that the future of energy will be shaped not only by resources, but by our collective ability to connect them, move them, and forge the deep partnerships required to deliver them.
