EMGF Secretary General Osama Mobarez met with H.E. Michalis Damianos, Minister of Energy, Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Cyprus, on the sidelines of the Informal Meeting of EU Energy Ministers.

During the discussion, SG Osama Mobarez provided updates on the latest EMGF activities and highlighted the robust momentum currently seen in Cyprus's offshore sector, driven by significant progress from key industry partners, including Chevron and ExxonMobil. Both parties also emphasized the Cyprus–Egypt energy partnership as a cornerstone of successful regional integration.
