Secretary General Osama Mobarez met in Washington, D.C. with Joshua Volz of the U.S. Department of Energy to discuss regional energy dynamics and congratulate him on his new role as Special Envoy for Global Energy Integration.

The meeting included an exchange of views on the growing importance of the Eastern Mediterranean in advancing energy security, cooperation, and sustainable development.

Both sides emphasized the timeliness of strengthened engagement and collaboration in support of regional energy integration objectives.
