At the Delphi Economic Forum in Washington, D.C., EMGF Secretary General Osama Mobarez participated in a high-level discussion titled “Power Shifts: Energy Security and Geopolitics in the Eastern Mediterranean.”

The discussion highlighted how EMGF connects producers, infrastructure operators, and consumers across the region. The Secretary General emphasized that rising nationalism and shifting alliances make cross-border cooperation increasingly essential. Energy, he noted, has become a strategic asset shaping national security, investment confidence, and regional influence.

The session reinforced the message that no country can secure its energy future alone. Reliable supply, resilient infrastructure, and access to markets depend on coordinated and collaborative action.
