On the sidelines of an EU event, Secretary General Osama Mobarez held his first official meeting with the Permanent Secretary of Cyprus, Kyriakos Iordanou.

Discussions covered recent EMGF activities and priorities, as well as the importance of regional collaboration in strengthening energy security and supporting the energy transition in the Eastern Mediterranean.

Cyprus, as a key founding member of EMGF, reaffirmed its commitment to further strengthening its relationship with the Forum. Both sides expressed their intention to continue advancing cooperation and reinforcing regional dialogue.
