The 21st Annual Cyprus Summit, organized by Economist Impact SE Europe Events, featured a dedicated session spotlighting the EMGF EmpowerMed Women Network—marking a historic first in the Summit’s 21-year history.

The Summit was officially opened by H.E. Mr. Nikos Christodoulides, President of the Republic of Cyprus, setting an inspiring tone for two days of high-level dialogue and exchange. The dedicated EmpowerMed session celebrated women’s leadership and highlighted the growing role of women in shaping the energy sector.

The panel featured the Network Chair, H.E. Alexandra Sdoukou (joining virtually), along with Executive Board Members Ms. Josie Christodoulou and Ms. Mirna Arif. The discussion was moderated by Enas Shabana and focused on the network’s vision, recent achievements, and upcoming initiatives.
