Secretary General Osama Mobarez met with two EMGF Ministers from our Founding Members during Egypes 2024, H.E. Alexandra Sdoukou- Greece Deputy Minister of Environment & Energy, and H.E. George Papanastasiou- Cypriot Minister of Energy, Commerce, and Industry.

During the meetings the Ministers discussed the East Mediterranean region immense potential for sustainable energy development, and the power of collaboration in unlocking unprecedented opportunities for the region and beyond.

The Ministers and the EMGF SG reflected on our shared commitment to drive energy transition efforts forward and foster collaboration within East Med region.

SecGen Mobarez showcased the EMGF activities update and presented 2024 work plan, with focus on the Forum’s efforts in decarbonization.
