EMGF Secretary General Osama Mobarez Met with H.E Theodoros Skylakakis Greek Minister of Environment and Energy, and Deputy Minister Alexndra Sdoukou in Athens.

During the meeting, SG Mobarez gave a  comprehensive review of the forum's objectives, founding principles, and role in regional integration among member state, with emphasis on maximizing the region's gas resources and fostering constructive dialogue.

In addition, EMGF SG gave an overview of the forum's achievements, supported notably by the Egyptian Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, the forum's initiator, while highlighting the Forum's  efforts to combat climate change, including a collaborative study with a global consultant, with results to be presented at COP 28.
