I am an energy professional currently serving as the Energy Efficiency Section Head at GASCO. I hold a PhD in chemical engineering from Cairo University. With a robust background in chemical engineering and operational excellence, my career is defined by a commitment to driving sustainable transformation across the energy industry. I hold the Certified Energy Manager (CEM) credential and serve as a certified carbon footprint verifier, specializing in the implementation of international standards such as ISO 50001 for Energy Management and ISO 14064 for Greenhouse Gas reporting.
My experience includes technical leadership and strategic partnership management, most notably leading initiatives within GASCO to support multiple petroleum companies in achieving energy excellence. I have played a pivotal role in high-level projects, including strategic partnership with international entity and hydrogen blending feasibility studies. My expertise in carbon footprint analysis and GHG reporting methodologies allows me to bridge the gap between complex technical requirements and actionable decarbonization strategies.
My academic contributions reflect a deep focus on the energy transition and sustainable chemical processes. My doctoral research at Cairo University focused on the applications of green hydrogen within the Egyptian market.
