On the 6th October, ARERA – the Italian Regulatory Authority for Energy, Networks, and Environment – hosted in Rome the third meeting of the Regulatory Authority Advisory Committee (RAAC) in the framework of East Mediterranean Gas Forum (EMGF).

Today, the Presidents and representatives of National Regulatory Authorities from the member countries of the East Mediterranean Gas Forum, met in Athens for the 2nd Regulatory Authority Advisory Committee (RAAC) meeting. This was the first time that the Presidents and representatives of NRAs from the countries participating in the EMFG had the chance to meet also in person.

CAIRO, February 14, 2022— The East Mediterranean Gas Forum (EMGF) and Boston Consulting Group (BCG) are pleased to announce the commencement of phase two in the development of the EMGF’s long-term strategy. BCG will support the EMGF as it puts in place a strategic roadmap and a best-practice operating model in order to deliver on the EMGF’s vision.

Forum (EMGF) convened in Cairo – The Arab Republic of Egypt – under the Presidency of His
Excellency Tarek El Molla, Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources of the Arab Republic
of Egypt, as the current President of the EMGF Ministerial Meeting.

Today, July 6, 2021, the Fifth Ministerial Meeting of the EMGF convened in Cairo – The Arab Republic of Egypt – under the Presidency of His Excellency Tarek El Molla, Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources of the Arab Republic of Egypt, as the current President of the EMGF Ministerial Meeting.

Today, March 9, 2021, the fourth ministerial meeting of the East Mediterranean Gas Forum (EMGF) was convened in Cairo, in the Arab Republic of Egypt.

The EMGF will fully respect the rights of its Members over their natural resources in accordance with international law.
The meeting witnessed the major step of initialing the EMGF Statute, confirming the finalization of its discussion.

The Founding Ministers decided to establish the EMGF in Cairo that fully respects the rights of the Members over their natural resources in accordance with international law.

The Ministers recognized that significant offshore gas discoveries in the Eastern Mediterranean will have profound impact on the region’s energy and economic development.
