2nd EMGF High Level Working Group Meeting – March 5th, 2019 – Cairo – Egypt
Based on the outcomes of the 1st EMGF Ministerial and High Level Working Group (HLWG) meetings held in January 2019, the 2nd HLWG meeting took place on the 5th of March 2019 in the EMGF headquarters in Cairo.
The meeting was led by Egypt and attended by the EMGF High Level Working Group (HLWG) representatives from the governments of Cyprus, Greece, Israel, Italy, Jordan, and Palestine, in addition to guest participants from the European Union and the World Bank.
The meeting discussed a draft concept note for the rules and procedures for the formation of the EMGF High Level Working Group (HLWG) to be presented to the next EMGF Ministerial Meeting for approval, in order to put an official framework for the HLWG activities.
The meeting also discussed the next EMGF Ministerial Meeting date and agenda, in addition to a list of recommendations to be presented to the Ministerial Meeting.
