23rd EMGF Executive Board Meeting
The 23rd EMGF Executive Board meeting was held today via video conference, with the participation of EB members from EMGF Member Countries and Observers.
The meeting started with opening remarks from the EMGF Secretary General Osama Mobarez and EB Chairman, Eng. Alaa Hagar- Undersecretary for Minister’s Technical Office- Egyptian Ministry of Petroleum & Mineral Resources.
In his remarks, SG Mobarez commended the efforts and support of the EMGF EB Members, and reaffirmed that “Cooperation is an utmost priority for our organization”.
During the meeting, the Secretariat presented the management report which included all Secretariat activities updates, along with updates on the Long-Term Strategy implementation, and the Scientific and Technical Advisory Committee (STAC) Taskforce activities progress and next steps.
The meeting also discussed the preparations for the next Ministerial Meeting which will take place in Cairo on July 12th.
The EB Members agreed to convene for the next EB Meeting on July 5th.
