The 11^th EMGF Executive Board (EB) meeting was virtually held on the 7^th of April 2021 via the online video conference, as a part of the precautionary measures taken to contain the COVID 19 pandemic.

The meeting was led by Egypt and was virtually attended by the Executive (EB) Representatives from the Governments of Cyprus, France, Greece, Israel, Italy, Jordan, Palestine and the United States as an Observer.

The meeting followed up on the implementation of the 4^th Ministerial Meeting resolutions, in order to assure their completion in the mandated Timeline.

The meeting invited the Team Leaders of the 4 established Working Groups (EMGF Secretariat Establishment – EMGF Long Term Strategy – Natural Gas Decarbonization in the East Med Region – Promotion of the use of LNG in the Maritime Transport in the East Med Region), to give a quick update on their respective Working Group activities.

The meeting also discussed the updates of the EMGF Gas Industry Advisory Committee (GIAC).

The EB Members agreed to arrange for the next EB Meeting during the second half of May 2021.
