The 2nd GIAC Meeting was held in Cairo on 14th January 2020 in which the rules and procedures were validated by the GIAC Members, which was then endorsed by the EMGF HLWG and subsequently by the Ministerial Meeting.
The GIAC Members agreed to appoint the Vice-Chairman of the committee from the members in alphabetical order for a period of one year, and accordingly, BP was chosen as the GIAC Vice Chairman for the year 2020.
The GIAC 3 sub-committees held separate meetings to discuss the work priorities that will be elaborated in the form of a plan of action for 2020.
