The First High Level Working Group (HLWG) meeting was held on the 15^th of January 2019 in Cairo, post the 1^st EMGF Ministerial Meeting.

The meeting discussions focused on defining the main objectives of the EMGF and its different bodies, in addition to its establishment as an international organization.

In this regard, the EMGF Member Countries’ delegates agreed on sending their observations to Egypt to compile and then call for thorough discussions in the latter subject. Moreover, the EMGF Member Countries’ delegates assured their commitment to the directives that came in the EMGF Ministerial Meeting to start the formation of smaller working groups that represent EMGF member countries to work on some activities for the forum in parallel with its organizational establishment.
